The UN says drought, flooding and heatwaves lower life expectancy for women more than for men. Ndivile Mokoena is a South African climate activist and feminist. She campaigns internationally for gender justice in climate protection policy.
Rural Women play a crucial role in agriculture, food security and nutrition, land and natural resource management and rural enterprises, often in severely difficult conditions that include insufficient infrastructure and inadequate rural services.
